ABOUT
Richard Krause is an award-winning director whose obsession for cinematic storytelling took hold at the age of five, when he wore out his VHS tape of the original “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Since then, he has turned that passion into a career.
His portfolio ranges from dark and sensual music videos to buoyant and exhilarating commercials for clients such as Apple, AT&T, Cisco, Dallas Cowboys, Dolby, Mercedes, Nvidia, and Samsung.
Richard has also directed and produced several award-winning short films, including the critically acclaimed “Fight the Foot,” which was screened at SXSW; “The Fading Light,” which premiered at the prestigious Australian creative festival Pause Fest; and “Dig,” which was nominated for the Sundance Short Film Grand Jury Prize. Richard has also won awards as a visual effects artist and supervisor, with credits on notable independent films like “A Ghost Story” and “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints.”
